How Do I Get a Computer?

Students who attend school in the Washington Unified School District can speak with their schools Computers 4 Kids representative about getting a referral form and setting up an appointment with Computers 4 Kids.

Students who are enrolled in classes in the Los Rios Community College District can speak with their RISE or EOPS  representative about getting a Computers 4 Kids referral form. All BOG recipients are eligible.

Other college students can also participate using the programs Community Member price structure.

Our Top Priorities:

  • Distribute FREE desktop computers to our low income students in the Washington Unified School District
  • Provide LOW-COST desktop and laptop computers to our low income students in the Los Rios Community College District
  • Help local High School and College students build their computer skills with our Technical Internship program

Eligibility for Kindergarten - 12th Grade Students

  • Student must be currently enrolled in a school within the Washington Unified School District
  • Student must be low-income

Eligibility for College Students

  • Student must be currently enrolled in a school within the Los Rios Community College District
  • Student must show proof of receiving the Bog Fee Waiver

When receiving a computer, the student is required to attend a 30- 60 minute orientation held in our office. This will ensure that the student receives proper instruction on how to use their new computer, and give them an opportunity to ask questions.
